Description: | American History: To learn the basics of America’s history from its inception to the New Millennium and to analyze and evaluate opposing interpretations of historical events. Our texts are A Beka Book’s United States History in Christian Perspective and the Critical Thinking Press & Software series on American history. Weekly homework will be chapter reading with term definitions and IDs (one chapter per week). In class, we will discuss review questions and learn to critically analyze opposing views of events in our country’s history. Students will take A Beka’s unit tests. |
